Ed is the only certified Master Practitioner in Mind Body Medicine in the Northeast Georgia area. He received this distinction after completing a rigorous 3 year master practitioner certification program in Mind Body Medicine through the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine (NICABM).
Ed combines his experience as an LPC with training and certifications in Clinical Hypnosis (Individual Consultations completed with Dr. Mark Weisberg), Master Practitioner Program in Mind Body Medicine (NICABM), Behavioral Sleep Health (Dr. Jason Ong, Dr. Rubin Naiman, Dr. Gregg Jacobs, & Dr. Barry Krakow), Mindfulness (Dr. Jean Kristeller, Dr. Zindel Segal, Dr. Ron Siegel, & Thich Nhat Hanh), Behavioral Pain Management (Dr. Howard Schubiner), Certified Kundalini Yoga Level One Instructor (Hari Kaur, NYC), Subtle Yoga with Kristine Weber, Distance Credentialed Counseling (Ray Barrett, Telehealth Certification Institute), Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (Center for Credentialing and Education) and Mindful Communication in Medical Education and Medicine (Dr. Ron Epstein, Dr. Mick Krasner, et al). Ed has led workshops around the country and facilitates Unlearn Your Pain and Natural Sleep Recovery workshops, Mindful Practice in Medical Education and Medicine, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Distress and Pain Management (MBCT), Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT), Mindfulness Practice for Self-Care for Healthcare Professionals, Educators, Parents and Caregivers as well as Mindfulness-Based Student Success Workshops.
As an undergraduate student at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, Ed received his B.A. with Distinction and received one of the top 20 college junior awards for Outstanding College Achievement by TIME Magazine and was featured in several issues of TIME magazine for his international humanitarian work. Ed is married to a fellow counseling professional. They have four children, seven grandchildren, and many wonderful relatives, friends and clients!

Ed Glauser, M.Ed., N.C.C., LPC, LCMHC, RYT 200 has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for over thirty years. He earned his graduate degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Georgia in 1990 and has counseled clients, students and patients in inpatient and outpatient treatment centers, hospitals, private practices, as well as school and university settings. Ed was appointed by the Athens-Clarke County Mayor and Commission to be on the Georgia Region 2 Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Board and was the Vice-Chairperson of his region. In 2016, Ed was appointed to the DBHDD state-level Advisory Council. Ed has also served on the Board of "Advantage Behavioral Health Systems", a ten-county public mental health agency as well as being their Board Chairperson in charge of mandating adherence to the highest ethical standards practiced by all healthcare staff. Also, Ed has served on the Editorial Board for the American Counseling Association's Journal of Counseling & Development. Ed also spearheaded the formation of the Integrative Mind Body Counseling program at the Mind Body Institute at Athens Regional Medical Center (Piedmont Athens Regional) and served on the Institutional Review Board at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, Georgia. Ed is a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors and School Counselors, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the Center for Credentialing and Education as a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider, and the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine. Ed completed his certification as a Level One Kundalini Yoga Instructor in NYC, and is now a RYT 200 through the Yoga Alliance. He is currently expanding his yoga instruction to include Subtle Yoga with Kristine Weber in Asheville, North Carolina. Ed is licensed in Florida (online only, TPMC70), Georgia, and North Carolina (LCMHC #15665). Ed is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia (GA #001725).
